You keep ownership of what you type into Neatfile and of the plans generated from it. You grant us only a narrow licence to process your input so the service can generate and deliver your output — never to train models or advertise.
01Your input stays yoursYou keep ownership of the descriptions and settings you submit.
You keep all rights you already hold in the descriptions, settings and any text you enter into Neatfile. Submitting them does not transfer ownership to us.
02The licence you grant usA narrow licence to process your input solely to generate and deliver your output.
To run the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process and transmit your input for the sole purposes of generating your plan, diagram or walkthrough, delivering it to you, providing support and meeting our legal obligations.
This licence exists only to operate Neatfile. We do not use your input or output to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. It ends when we delete the content under the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
03The plans you generateYou may use your generated plans, diagrams and walkthroughs for personal or commercial organisation.
As between you and us, you own the folder plans, naming conventions, checklists, archive rules, routines, diagrams and walkthrough videos generated from your description. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes to organise your own material, including your clients' work that you are entitled to manage.
Similar plans may be generated for other users from different descriptions; the underlying methods and generic organisational patterns are not exclusive to you.
04Your responsibility for outputReview generated plans before you rely on them, and back up before you reorganise.
Generated plans are guidance for you to review and adapt. You are responsible for checking a plan before you act on it and for backing up your data before any reorganisation, as set out in our AI Disclaimer. Diagrams are illustrative representations of a plan, not a record of your actual files.
05Our materialsThe Neatfile brand, site design and imagery remain ours.
The Neatfile name, website design, interface, illustrations and other materials we create remain our property or that of our licensors, and are not transferred by these terms. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service normally.
